Star Wars

Star Wars is possibly the biggest sci-fi epic ever. It has far reaching appeal and iterations in every medium. Animation, live action TV, feature films, comics, novels, art, audio, toys and miniatures, etc.

Bandai do snap kits and are famous for their Gundams. When they got the Star Wars license there was a lot of complaining from the model kit community who liked Fine Molds even though Fine Molds was very slow on releases and had said they were not going to release all the ships. They were very wrong.
The Bandai ships are some of the best kits you can find. Great detail and fun. If you shop around they are affordable as well.
This is their 1/72 Y-Wing.

Bandai's A-Wing was one of the most fun times I have ever had with a kit. It went together beautifully and stands out in my memory. No where gave me issue which is a nice thing when building a kit. I went with Aston Martin green for the colouring.

Bandai's Tie Interceptor is a great little kit. It does take some work to get the Wings joined and care has to be taken there but otherwise it is a good fit and it can create a very nice rendition of the famous Tie Fighter.

The first Bandai kit I built was this X-Wing. Amazing kit with great design ideas behind it. Bandai makes use of their knowledge in kits to bring a build in a logical way. That should be the norm, but it isn't always with kit companies.

Bandai's BB-8 was a super fast build that was a lot of fun. This kit is great for beginners.

Star Wars Legion is probably the best tabletop Star Wars miniatures we have had. I loved Knight Models but they were show quality minis. The Scout is a little tricky to put together but nice when done. This is a coastal scout trooper.

You need Rebel Scum to fight the imperials and this batch fits the bill. Each one is unique which is great. So many multi-packs are all the same mini. Legion, they are all different.

Star Wars Legion Deathtroopers. These scary Imperials make a great addition to the Legion game.

2-1B from Legion. Its a pretty simple mini and the detail is ok. Its not as super crisp as resin would be but ultimately this is a game piece and not a show piece and its going to get used. A little touch up on the base still needs doing. Overall these are fun mini's and not bad value. They could be a little cheaper I feel but they are not bad at all. Some of the new ones have improved in sharpness of detail.
