Star Wars is possibly the biggest sci-fi epic ever. It has far reaching appeal and iterations in every medium. Animation, live action TV, feature films, comics, novels, art, audio, toys and miniatures, etc.
Bandai do snap kits and are famous for their Gundams. When they got the Star Wars license there was a lot of complaining from the model kit community who liked Fine Molds even though Fine Molds was very slow on releases and had said they were not going to release all the ships. They were very wrong.
The Bandai ships are some of the best kits you can find. Great detail and fun. If you shop around they are affordable as well. This is their 1/72 Y-Wing. |
2-1B from Legion. Its a pretty simple mini and the detail is ok. Its not as super crisp as resin would be but ultimately this is a game piece and not a show piece and its going to get used. A little touch up on the base still needs doing. Overall these are fun mini's and not bad value. They could be a little cheaper I feel but they are not bad at all. Some of the new ones have improved in sharpness of detail.

Star Wars Inquisitor
This Inquisitor is compatible with the Legion miniature wargame. It is based on Trilla from the Jedi Fallen Order computer games. Trilla was one of the best villains to come out of Star Wars in more recent years. In an era where a lot of the villains have had pretty weak screen presence Trilla stella stood out. This miniature has decent detail for the size. Overall it was a lot of fun to paint. There are a couple of options for the Lightsaber which is nice to have. |
