Battlelords of the 23rd Century is a science fiction roleplaying game set in a war torn universe where various species have been forced to come together to face the possiblity of galactic war with the hostile Arachnids as they encroach into Alliance territory. The Allied species are very different and many are working together out of necessity rather than any real desire for unity.
Players can take on many different roles within this universe. Want to be a Galactic solider helping to keep the Arachnids at bay? No problem. Mercenary getting contract work from the mega-corps more your speed? Battlelords has you covered. Got a dislike for rules that makes it hard to fit into a military or contract setting? You can always be a pirate! Whether you love combat, exploration, espionage, or even just giving your boss a hard time (or...is that just our campaign?) there's something for you here!

We're exploring it with our usual roleplay heavy and rules light approach and wanted to make sure you know that you can play it the way we do if that's what you enjoy, but if in-depth is more your style this game is so supportive of that.
